Today's project

Today we passed out 128 fliers for the Bring Hugo Home concert. We started at Walmart and worked our way north until we got to the Meadows. To our children's chagrin (and mine), Meadows wasn't open yet. We then went to the mall and met with lots of friendly people until a security guard stopped us and informed us that we had to get permission before passing anything out. We visited the mall office, got the OK, and proceeded on our way.

We then walked along Philadelphia Street to the corner of Philly and 5th. Along the way, we stopped in every business and asked them to post a flier. The radio station even offered to put it on as a public service announcement!

I ran out for an errand this evening and as I drove down Philadelphia Street it was a great feeling to see the colorful fliers hanging in the windows of so many businesses. Which brings me to a little game Rebekah invented......

Last year, we bought s couple of Sheetz coupon books from my niece who was selling them for a fundraiser. We never used the doughnut coupons and they don't expire until 2013 (the coupons, not the doughnuts). So here's the game:

The first two people to take a picture of a Bring Hugo Home Concert flier and post it on facebook wins a free Sheetz doughnut. We'll bring you the coupon or mail it, whichever is easier.

Game on!
